Increase Consumer Protections Medical Transactions

I had a press conference this week in support of Senator Sonya Jaquez-Lewis and my medical debt billing bill, SB23-093. We've worked so hard on it, and with the Colorado Attorney General's office, to help protect people from predatory debt collectors. It would cap interest rate to 3% on medical debt, require much needed transparency for patients into where and how each collection agency got their debt, and require payment plans.
